** MY Family and I are fine, as it turns out, the evacuation order they issued at noon today was mandatory in some parts. I do know for a fact, that families around LCC area were evacuated.**
It's like living in your own personal horror movie.
Today Cory and I sort of flipped out around 11 am and started packing/taking down pictures and my grandfathers art. My mom ran her errands, getting us plenty of water, fueled up the car, and made the desposit, just in case. Cory and I worked madly and anxiously to get everything packed away. We got all three cars packed and ready to go around by 2 pm, our kitties stowed in their cages. My mother was very unwilling to leave our property and house, so she did more research on where the fires were burning and the weather conditions. The Ramona Witch Creek fire is the one that we are most concerned about. (Its headed for the del mar region :< ) It apparently jumped over the 15 and is making its way to Rancho Santa Fe and Olivinhan. (as of 10:53 pm) My eldest brother Richard, had been LITERALLY calling us every five minutes (on our land line phone) about anything that changed in the fire's behavior and path pattern. Meaghan called us today and told us about how the Singh family and herself (she lives with them) had to flee to the Hyatt in La Jolla.
After we figured that we didn't nessiarly need to leave, we basically watched the news, and waited for the reverse 911 phone call. We let my kitties out of their cages and they've taken over my moms bed rofl. (Its cute cough) Right now I'm taking the shift to stay up and see if the fire heads our way. v_v;;
Last night was horrifying. After the sun had set, the santa ana winds picked up to 30 mph around our place. At three am they were at 60 mph...this is too crazy. It completely tore away at one of our greenhouses.. sigh.
MY THROAT FSCKING BURNS BTW. And for some reason my bedroom is more smokey then the rest of the house. :|
I'll take more pictures in the morning and post them. And give any additional information. :P
